Peer Resource Team (PRT) Applications (due Friday, February 18 at 4 p.m. in the Center for Student Involvement, 106 Student Center)

Applications for the 2011-12 K Crew (due March 11, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. in 518 Patterson Office Tower)

The K Crew helps plan and facilitate K Week events like Big Blue U, Campus Ruckus, and We Are UK.  They also help a team of new students transition to campus. The Office of New Student and Parent Programs is looking for the best student leaders to provide a memorable, positive first-year experience for UK’s newest students. Did you enjoy taking UK 101? UK 101 Peer Instructors help new students transition to campus by teaching them study skills, how to get involved, and how to take advantage of their college experience.  The Office of New Student and Parent Programs is looking for the best student leaders to co-teach this academic orientation course. K Book Editorial Board and University Ambassador Applications (due March 11, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. in 518 Patterson Office Tower) The K Book Ambassadors write the new student handbook and represent the student body at University events.  The Office of New Student and Parent Programs is looking for the best student leaders to tell the new students what life at UK is really like and to represent the student body well. New Student Induction Ceremony Speech Contest (due March 11, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. in 518 Patterson Office Tower) The Office of New Student and Parent Programs is giving one lucky UK freshman the opportunity to address thousands of new students and their families at the New Student Induction Ceremony during K Week 2011 in August.
